Most websites that I visit have the same look and feel to them. They haven't been updated in quite some time or they are using the same template that a number of other websites are using. Putting up original content on a regular basis will help with bringing back existing customers to your website and also draw new customers who are looking for your services.
I believe that all small and medium sized business websites need to have an intro video that describes your business. You can start a YouTube channel and post the video on your website. Once you become familiar on how to do that you know have a way to communicate with your customers and show them what's new and how you can help make their life easier.
I started another website www.freesmallbuinessmarketing.com. I've posted a few videos so far and with enough practice and consistency I will be able to get in front of the customers who need my services. Try it out and see. It will only help in the long run.
